GardenHeroes 2

The purpose of this project is to learn about wildlife and plant life. We get to observe how plants work together with insects to help vegetation survive. Our group is planting Brassica oleracea. This is a type of plant that is related to cabbage. It looks like a mini bush of lettuce. At this point, our plant is fighting with other plants to get water. Our plant has grown two or three inches in the last three weeks. It is still trying to grow, but some insects are starting to eat holes into it. The plant is fighting for its survival but it continues to grow.
