Hi my name is Dimas Romero I am from san jose california . I was born hear in 1999 with my mom. one day my school was making a garden decided to join in the group. We started to grow beats and carrots. We always harvested them one day we decided to grow a pomegranate tree' mint' tomatoes' and strawberries. I enjoy growing plants I hope to grow more in the future.

My name is Mayra Fernandez, and I am originally from San Jose, California. I was born here, in 2000 and I have 2 younger sisters that attend Willow Glen Elementary. My grandparents live in a small ranch in Mexico named Cuquio, Jalisco and during the summer we call them to see how things are going over there.

I have never gardened/planted any seeds of any type, so I basically have no experience with plants. But my grandma that lives in Mexico has a garden an my Grandpa farms for a living. He raises corn, beans, strawberries, wheat, and much more. I've talked to him once on the phone, and he says that it is really hard because you have to water the plants everyday and take good care of them. But mostly he says that the hardest part of all, picking the strawberries and the corn. I really wished I had experience with plants and agriculture because it sounds pretty fun! I hope that when this unit ends I will know more about plants and agriculture!
